Marisa Tomei Left Nothing To The Imagination, Try Not To Gasp

Marisa Tomei has claimed she was never paid for her role in the 2020 film “The King of Staten Island,” directed by Judd Apatow and starring Pete Davidson. In a Rolling Stone interview, Tomei, who played Davidson’s mother, Margie, revealed she recently contacted Davidson to discuss the payment issue, stating, “I never got paid for that.

Did you? In this age of transparency, can we talk?” Despite the alleged non-payment, Tomei described her experience on set positively, noting the extensive improvisation encouraged by Apatow and her enjoyment working with stand-up comedians. Tomei mentioned that this film significantly influenced her approach to future roles. Universal has been contacted for comment. “The King of Staten Island,” inspired by Davidson’s real life, is available to watch on Sky and NOW.
